William Francis Jacobs Family raised three children and lived for a short while on the West (Niagara) River and eventually on Grand Island.  “Bill” worked for the Food Machinery Corporation in Buffalo but enjoyed much more being with the family, working in the garden, building picnic tables and chicken coops.  Bill was very creative and handy with tools and designed and built a 2nd story addition to the family home on Grand Island.
