Ludwig Jacobs immigrated to the U.S. from Rechtenbach, Germany in 1844 landing in New York and settling in Buffalo.  Ludwig and Anna Maria Gastel were married in 1849 and John Louis was born the same year.   John Louis married Catherine Weyand in 1873.  Their 10 children were: Louis Jacobs, Albert Rudolf Jacobs, Mary Jacobs, Joseph Jacobs, Odelia Jacobs, Leo C Jacobs, Eleanora Jacobs, Nora Rose Jacobs and 2 other children. Albert Rudolph Jacobs was born in Buffalo New York in 1878. 

Nickolous Doll immigrated to the U.S. from Baden, Germany in 1800 landing in New York and settling in Buffalo. Nickolous and Johanna Leicht were married in 1804 and Frederick Doll was born in 1805.  Frederick married Mary Ann Stephan in 1846 and George Doll was born in 1847.  George Doll married Mary Ann Bisant in 1870 and Mary Augusta Doll was born in 1874.

Mary Augusta married Albert Rudolph Jacobs in 1897.
